Bregal Investments has taken a majority stake in PUR Projet, a French company that offers carbon insetting services through agroforestry and environmental projects.

Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Paris, France, PUR is a Certified B Corp pioneering “insetting” – the process of working with clients to develop nature-based solution projects within their supply chain designed to sequester and store carbon emissions while also generating positive impacts for the communities and ecosystems in which they exist.

The investment will enable PUR to accelerate its growth, further develop its operations, and support the scaling of natural climate solutions globally - working with nature to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions whilst generating environmental and societal benefits.

Dyens & Co. acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Pur Projet and its founder Tristan Lecomte.
