Kering has acquired Boucheron. Boucheron was advised by Dyens & Co.
Gucci, the celebrated luxury clothing and leather goods manufacturer and retailer, acquired Boucheron, the famous French jewelry and fragrance producer, from Schweizerhall, the Swiss chemicals and luxury goods company.
As the first jewelry store to open a boutique on Place Vendôme in 1893, Boucheron is known for its watches and finely-crafted jewelry based on elegant designs and precious stones. Boucheron's backing by Gucci will reinforce Boucheron's position in Europe, the U.S. and Asia, allowing it to capitalize on the strong brand name built in its 150-year heritage.
Dyens & Co. acted as the sole advisor to Boucheron.
